If your younger than 30, then ignore the title, it's a twist on an Ian Dury song, :D
I've just found another reason why you need a memory card to back up your game saves.
Youngest nephew has been round to our house tonight, while mum & dad went shopping. After a spell on Mario and Sonic at the olympics he wanted to play on Assasins Creed. So being the (brill) uncle that I am I let him carry on from my original game save, (whata mistaka to makea). There's a few items to collect along your way, (which I'm sure he missed) and also I'm one these game players that likes to listen to all of the commentary that's going on, I like to know everything!!!!
Well to cut a long story short, I found out afterwards that you can copy PS3 game saves to a memory card reader, and that's just what I should have done beforehand. I've just had to start the game again and got to the point where he took over. So now I've got (on 2 SD cards) mine and his latest saves. From now on, when he comes around I just delete the console save and copy his over, simple when you know how.
