Wii from other countries

Howdy all,

If I was to buy a Wii from another European country, would it make a difference?

Can you set the language from whatever foreign language it is to default to English?

I presume that all the manuals etc. are in numerous languages anyway.

no, it wouldn't make a difference unless you bought a wii from france. all european countries are PAL whereas france and a couple eastern european countries (around russia) are SECAM.

yeah you select the language when you first set up the wii. i think theres about 8 to choose from, no doubt english will be on all consoles.
