play.com orders

i ordered my wii from play.com on the 17/09/2006 and wanted to know if anyone else who ordered theres around the same time has got theres. also does anyone know when play.com will get there next batch of units.

Well I originally ordered mine from Play.com, about a week after you did, but was then told I wouldn't be getting one for launch. When I rang them I was told it was doubtful that I would get one from them this year, so I cancelled my order with them.
If what I read somewhere (can't remember where though) was true, they had 150 consoles for the launch and were getting 50 consoles every week after, which I presume were (and still are) for people who had pre-ordered. So I'd say the best thing you can do is phone their customer services department and see if they can tell you when you might get one. Though I wouldn't get your hopes of getting one before next year up to much.

Same really i recieved that annoying e-mail so cancelled my order and got it from techsplosion. Can't believe they were stupid enough to keep it open sooooooo long after they'd sold out of preorders!
