The forum has changed??

I like the fact that all the topic collums has been moved to the top like the lounge.
but comeon put the wii chat at the top seeing as it one of the biggest colums people mainly post on.
I think Tom changed it he was on at the time.

It's all change at the Wii Find forum... I'm just doing the major restructure we've been planning for a while. Should be all done in 10 minutes or so... I hope! :)

We've been planning it for a while and have been through this. There were too many forums which means members were spread more thinly over a wide area. Combining forums and switching things around will encourage more posts and create more of a community than lots of different forums. It's also much less daunting than it was before to new members.

Trust us on this one! ;)

i seen more of the new arrangements and i really don't like it sorry to say it should of stayed the same.But i will give it a try.

Basically we've taken out a lot of the really specific forums that only had a few threads and combined them to make more general forums which are busier (like the Wii Chat and Wii Games). Where specific topics are going to generate a lot of posts we've tried to make them sub-forums within a larger forum. For example the forums for specific games like Super Paper Mario are sub-forums inside Wii Games.

The front page is much cleaner and less confusing to noobs (hopefully!) and we can always tweak things to taste.

Yep, just this now i had to type in my username and password 3 times just to get on here.

I usually log in ok, then it chucks me off, usually halfway through typing a reply and I have to start again.

I used to have the same problem but before clicking the submit reply or preview post button I click Ctrl + A, then Ctrl + C. If I've written a lengthy post or just dawdled with typing and I get logged out, I log back in, go back to the thread I was posting in click on the reply button then press Ctrl + V.

Handy little keyboard shortcuts to select all, copy all and paste all, :D

Wii Spark's technique is unfortunately the best way to cope with the log in problem at the moment! I've reminded the site developers again that this is a big problem and (hopefully) it will be sorted eventually. I know it's a pain guys and I'm sorry :(

The strange thing is I rarely have trouble with the login issue but I know it must be a pain of other users. I don't know what I'm doing differently! I usually sign in on a different page on the site because that's where my bookmark takes me. I've only noticed myself being signed out once and that's because I left the Wii Find tab open and forgot about it like a neglected puppy. Admittedly it was a bit of a pain in the **** to sign in again but I just shut the window and started again and it was ok.

it happend to me yesterday to and i had to close the tab and re open it again. I know that the changes might not have the effect on the log in bug but as the forum changed i have trouble logging in now.
Lol i still confused on the forum:p
