I'm considering getting a DS Lite. Has anyone here got one? What do you think of it? Can anyone recommend a couple of good games to get started with?

Yeah I got a ***y black DS Lite, all I can say it is excellent. Top games I can think off my head are: New Super Mario Bros, Sonic Rush, Yoshi Island, Trauma Centre, Mario Kart, Metroid Prime, etc, list can go on forever unlike some think else I know. :D

yeah love the ds

have had 3 so far, got it when first come out, the fat

then got the white one after selling the fat

then the top left button went down after getting addicted to metroid prime hunters
so sent that to get fixed
and they couldnt, so ended up getting a black one.

and love it......

game at the moment worms really cool wi-fi

Pokemon Pearl/Diamond are quite good and this is coming from a guy who hasn't played Pokemon since the dark days of Yellow on Gameboy when he was like 9. ;)

I'm tempted to get a DS... but will wait bit longer for prices to fall abit more.. I got the psp when it first came out.. bad choice.. I haven't touched it for ages...

So what if he doesn't like pokemon. It's just his opinion, calm down.

I kinda see why he would think the games are "***" if he associates them with the TV show, wich imo is horrid. But the games them selves have a far more hidden depth of strategy to them. More sets, Type combinations, Effort values, IV's, natures etc. Also a good deal of prediction is needed on wifi. In the end it's still a solid fun RPG game.

But still if he doesn't like it, he doesn't like it. Nothing to do about it

Well I've got one now. A nice shiny DS Lite white. I got Super Mario World with it but I'm gonna get some more soon. I'm very pleased with it great fun :D I'm loving the minigames on the game too.

Ah no I meant Super Mario 64 DS. For some reason it's Mario World in my head. :-D

Oh I see now. Mario 64 one of my favorite games of all time. :) I loved the mini games in the DS version and in New Super Mario Bros, you can do two player mini games action. Hehe, that where I kick some ass. :D
