Who wants to be a Moderator?

Hi guys!

We used to have quite a few moderators on WiiFind. They did a really good job but, as tends to happen, some of them used the site less and less. Eventually we were down to only 2. We don't have that many problems with spam on the site, but it'd be nice if we could get a full team of moderators again to make sure things run smoothly. Ideally these would be people with ideas as to how we can improve the site, get more people involved etc. So we need people willing to give up some of their time and also to get creative!

Anyone interested?

Nothing too strenuous. The main task is checking for spam but, like I said, we don't get much of that anymore. There's also checking that people are being nice to each other. That's also never been a problem here though. Your main task would be to admire the shiny 'Moderator' title under your user name!

why not have a vote? you know like by the people for the people, have a public vote for any1 thts interested in being a mod, and see hoo the people want, (no voting for themselves) hows tht sound?

Sounds like a good idea. I'll wait and see who's interested and if there's enough then I'll set up voting. Or maybe a fight to the death instead...

There's no age limit. As long as you can do a great job we won't set any restrictions at all.

It would be nice to offer the position to members who have stuck with Wiifind from the beginning, and Huzzie is a real Wiifind trooper ;)

Well I'm convinced! You're definitely in the running. I'll check back on Monday to see who's interested. If there are enough I'll run a vote. Or I might do by best Louis XIV impression and choose my favourites! No, I will honestly make this as democratic as possible.

I seem to remember that post in question, and I think there was someone else in the running as well. But can't find the post or remember who the other member was.

Who can say if anybody would make a good mod. Everybody has different attributes to, not just becoming a good moderator, but how you view opinions made by your peers, decisions made each and every day and how you go about your daily life. Each person is different and this is what makes us unique.

What I propose is that you all become moderators. Actually you'll be Super Moderators which means that you can move threads around, delete them if necessary and generally have more access to the site.

although it would be nice if wii spark is 1 to as he is also quite active and puts alot of input into here such as the mscf league
