Oh My God!

Hi,

Ive been reading this site for around 3 weeks now, haven't signed up yet.

But anyway.

I phoned up GAME in Chester this morning at around 11.

They said they had 10 in, and said if you get here quick you can get one, BUT YOU MUST HAVE A REWARD CARD.

I was fu*king gutted, because my reward card was with my mother in Wrexham and she was working.

So i had to go to Wrexham to get the card at 12:45pm and there was alot of fu*king round to do.

Anyway, at 1pm after i got the card. i phoned them up only to be told that they had sold out and are it is HIGHLY UNLIKLEY they will get any tomorrow.

I am extremely *****d off.

Is it worth a shot at getting a train tomorrow early in the morning and queuing up outside game??

just incase they do have any in?

what a load of crap!...you should complain...you dont need to buy a Game card....that is totally up to you if you want their card or not...and you could have got your card when you bought the Wii anyway...think someone was having you on...worth a try tomorrow I reckon :roll:

you know what thought Johnnybgood...it does depend where you go...have to say the guysngals in the Barnet branch are reasonable people...but think they way you've been treated is utter Sh*t!!!.....never heard shut crap re internet and retail shops being totally different! :evil:

Based on my own experience and some of the posts I've read on the forum the current trend seems to be that Game are getting 10-20 Wii's in a lot of their stores every day (does anyone know if the same shop has received a delivery two days or more in a row?)

Because they dont know until the day whether any are arriving I don't see the point queuing up before they open....you'd probably be the only person there.

Much better to give them a call or wander in when they open and find out whether they're getting any. If they are then what'll probably happen is either you have to hang around or you have your name taken (but not your ass kicked hopefully!) and come back when they arrive.

Yeah, just try them when they open and they'll take your name, that's what I did. They didn't ask me for a reward card, but they said if I had one they'd send me a £5 gift voucher. I had one at home that hadn't been used for a couple of years, but if you give them your address and you're still at the same place it will show on their records like mine did. No need to rush home for your card at all.

Got mine this morning from queuing up outside GAME from 0800. They seem to have stock coming in every morning, but only 6 or 8 or some other random low number! If you want one, queing early will get you one, so long as every other b*gger hasn't done the same!
