I got a Wii!

After touring all the shops this past week and several close calls online I finally got one at 12 O'Clock today. :D

Got to Game as it opened and was told 18 were coming in today and 15 tomorrow and they were expected at 12 O'Clock. They said I'd have to queue, but I wasn't really dressed for it and was supposed to be in work anyway. I nipped back at 10.45 to find no queue, so asked at the counter and they said the queue was forming an obstruction, so they were taking names and mobile numbers. I was added as 11 on the list and got my wii and Zelda at 12 O'Clock without queueing at all.

I suggest some of you try the same tomorrow, and good luck. My son will be over the moon.

The same thing happened to me on Tuesday. I wandered into Game in Epsom as it opened and found out they were expecting 15. They took people's names rather than have a queue and they turned up at noon.

Its starting to look like Game is the best bet for a non-preordered Wii....they seem to be getting deliveries every day unlike all the other high street shops.

Yeah, everywhere else I went told me they'd get none before Xmas. Woolworths told me they'd had none since launch apart from a few that were pre-ordered. Yet my sister told me her friend went into a Woolies in Es*** last week and they had about 20 sitting there and she got one.

It appears the North East has got a pretty ****** deal with stock, but Game is your best bet.
