you mean where they run along the sides and tele past the goalie for a goal? I hate it when that is all my opponet tries to do. I can understand why you'd d/c.

I always want to beat jump/warp spammers no matter what.

Only joking, but seriously, it's frustrating playing against these unimaginative people. It's the only move they know, they perfect it and use it game in game out.

If this is the only pleasure in their lives then only one word can describe them, sad.
And they probably think they're the bees knees at Strikers.

At least they're not getting the 10 points, but then again if your DC'ing your losing 5 points.

OOI, if you reset your Wii while playing it goes down as loss to you but if you lose your internet connection, by unplugging your modem, does the system still know it's you that DC'ed?

I have to admit i use the dry bones teleport, i was fed up with people doing it to me so i thought id learn to do it and get em back. I do use it but i dont score all my goals that way, as anyone hoo has played me knows

Sorry but I am of the strong opinion that disconnecting is wrong under ANY and ALL circumstances.

If someone is teleporting all the time, you need to spend time playing them in order to learn how to counteract it. If you take that ability away from them if they've got no plan B you'll walk it. The same goes for any spam tactic.

One I've seen a lot recently is the Diddy Kong / Toad jump & pass.

It's 2 weeks and counting since I could go online. Anyway I have finally managed to complete all 3 cups and all the challeneges ( diddy and yoshis are by far the hardest).

Anyway, have to agree with frolicols you shouln't disconnect, just work out how to counter attack it.

Don't disconnect londonjohn :(, i know it can be annoying but just find a way to stop them. That way you won't be losing points every time you disconnect. I use the boo teleport myself but i don't do nothing but it.

I played about 15 series yesterday, and had disconnectors in 8 matches IN A ROW.

Disconnectors just show themselves to be highly impatient and immature. Very bad sports.

Yeah there have been quite a lot of lame people on lately :confused:. Doing nothing but trying to teleport and constantly attacking and then disconnecting when they start to get a beating.

Hopefully they will all be gone in a week or so and then we can all have good, clean online fun ;).

i played the striker of the day 2 weeks ago, he flipped over his own keeper with toad by accidet, he disconected at 7-0 to me lol

i dont really care as long as they dont do it all the time, and play to do it, but i dont see why not if the ball is white and ure in front of there keeper

I think what people are annoyed about is one-dimensional players using the same tactic over and over and over ad nauseum.

Of course, you won't moan if it's a Hammer Spammer because you know how to counter it. If you know how to counter teleporters then you won't moan either.

I don't understand how anyone can get enjoyment out of a game by doing the same thing over and over again!

I must admit the teleporters are starting to hack me off too now. Dry bones and two Boos seem to be the popular choice. I'm starting to get back at them now though, here's my tactic:

get your fastest player (for me dry bones or waluigi). Hover in your own half near their captain (especially if it's an offensive player) and block the boo's path to goal. If they try and pass to the captain to blast it in. Hit away.

You have to show patience. A lot of players will just stay in their own half until they see an opening. Let them, they'll get bored eventually.

Works for me now anyway.

ive also devised a way to stop the toad flipping thing.

just get a fast player like dry bones or boo, and when you see them going for the move just stand behind the goalie, and when they flip him just barge em out the way b4 they have chance to do owt, it easy to do and really annoying 4 them

I ussually just stand between the keeper and toad. If they flip over my player, they wont make the jump over the keeper. If they decide not to do that i just hit em.

For boo's i just guard the goal with my own boo, usually they won't get past.

it's best to try the toad jump when you're two "toad lengths" away from the keeper.

teleporting is just using drybones, daisy, waluigi and boo to warp through the keeper using theire deke.
