Just wondered what music Wiifinders listen to (if any).

I love Embrace, Snow Patrol, U2 and basically most bands that use guitars. I really like this song at the moment too, sticks in your head:

hmmmm, I'm not to fussed about what I listen to. I use to really like the old school rock stuff, Guns'n Roses, Def Leopard, Alice Cooper, etc....
Now I like anything from pop, rock, even some classical lol, but at the moment I enjoy Miko, I'm a sucka for a catchy tune:)

Chances are Ben, if it wasn't for us oap's music, todays new acts wouldn't survive.
Why, because look at how many cover versions from the 70's & 80's are around and have been covered recently.

Still reckon the 70's rock is/was the best, think Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Rush, Whitesnake etc etc etc.

I listen to mostly rock but I also listen to other genre of music aswell, one of my favourite bands are Franz Ferdinand.

More of an RnB, Soul, Reggae and Hip Hop fan myself but mostly the oldschool stuff.... such as Bob Marley, James Brown, Grand master flash...

This is one of my favourite songs especially when it kicks in near the end. All my hairs stand up on end when I hear that bit. That's what music is all about.

Therion, Spock's Beard, Helloween, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, not so much Audioslave), Sabbath, David Bowie, Tears For Fears, Nik Kershaw (his last 3 albums are masterpieces), Cobra Starship, the list goes on ...

Quite an eclectic mix really. Variety is the spice, as they say! :)

Lol! Maybe not so hard, just plain weird, especially Therion, any fans of the Symphonic Epic Metal/Classical/Progressive Rock niche may be interested ... No? ... Just me then? lol!

Smashing Pumpkins were pretty cool in hindsight, some very peculiar videos i remember, but their song titles elude this aching brain tonight! (sounds of frazzling)

Pumpkins songs include Bullet with Butterfly Wings, Tonight Tonight, 1979, Ava Adore among many others. Don't usually do heavy rock but these guys mix it up and do mellow as well.

Bullet With Butterfly Wings is what i was thinking of, some sweet tunes you listed.

I bet you'd like Chris Cornell's Euphoria Morning album, it's pretty chilled, not really very heavy, but damn catchy. You can find Preaching The End Of The World from that album on Youtube. Great song.

Glad you enjoyed it :) Thanks for the links, reminds me how impressive their songwriting is, i love the melding of guitars and orchestras, there's something so assuaging in it.

I'd love to include threads to some music vids but i come on here using the wii, i'm too lazy to connect the PC up! lol!

Well i like alods of music to name a few :In Flames, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, AD/DC, Children of Bodom, Daft Punk, The All American Rejects, Bloodhound Gang, Guns N Roses, I am Ghost, Kalmah, Killswitch Engage, Korn, Led zeppelin, Lordi, Metallica, Lost Prophets, Breaking Benejamin, My Chemical Romance, Muse, Nirvana, Pendulam, Rammstein, S.U.N. project, Dragonforce, Static-X, Tenacious D, Van Halen, The white Stripes, Deep Purple. But i like loads other and atm i'm listening to alot of trance and Switchfoot who are ace. Learnt Linkin park - What I've Done today but it's pretty easy and it's in transformers which btw is a great film.

Some cool bands there too, in particular Deep Purple, Dragonforce and Guns n Roses. People on WiiFind have some mighty fine tastes :)

I like all kinds of music really, but especially 70’s music and rock. I don’t mind pop and metal either. And there’s also some good game music out there. Currently “jumping jack flash” is stuck in my head. And as said before dragonforce and deep purple are exellent :P.
Only things i don’t like are Rap and Hipety-hop.

Don't mind Kings of Leon and I like Arcade Fire. Still like a bit of Drum & Bass too (throw back from my college years lol).
