Apparently, according to Lance Barr (some dude at Nintendo's design team), they're chosen just to go with the AA battery option at launch to keep the costs down. You could always go for rechargable batteries to save money but I agree, the worst thing that could happen is they run out in the middle of a game.
The Nintendo GameCube's WaveBird controllers have a battery life of 100 hours, but Wii's will be less as they send more data, no news about how much less yet, guess we'll have to find out ourselves...

oh thats total rubbish. batteries!.. no : (.
somthing needs to be done. thats always been the problem with wireless controlers tho, eating your batteries away, i nevr bought one for my gamecube.
worse case scenario:
ur playing and havn't saved your game for ages, then batteries run out (Uh OH)..... , BUT you havn't got any! (OH NO!) so what do u do either
i) turn it off lose ur place or
ii) (if you can be bothered) quickly run down to the local shop to pick up some batteries,......
.........only to find they either cost a rediculas amount of money (about £6 - way too much) for 4 batteries when u only want 2...... or
........ they don't have any left....... or
......even worse....... they only have AAA batteries, just to annoy you even MORE!

Your best bet is to bulk buy all the batteries in England before the mad rush of Wii fanatics heard into the shops... you heard it here first...

does anyone know if the vc will have any kind of wi-fi multiplayer?

Certainly will! You can even link up more than 1 Wii over a wireless LAN, so 2 TV's. Multiplayer with mates is definately what makes me want a Wii the most.

It busted my son. We share an iTunes account, I have an iPhone and iPhone, and he has a touch. My story is now with vulgar apps I do not want to look full, and he was broke and embarrassed. He lost his Internet privileges. I hope Apple implements a delete option. dvd ripper free (http://www.top-dvd-ripper.com/) The lack of a subscription model has kept me from purchasing my mags on the iPad. I couldn't wait for wired to release for the iPad. . . . .when it did however they wanted $5 per issue when I could get the paper copy for less then a buck. In anticipation of the iPad app I didn't renew my paper version of the mag but then decided that the e version was to expensive, as a result I now don't receive either. I can't wait for a decent subscription model that allows me to rcieve the same types of discounts that I could with the old paper system.

A I agree that flat rate data is a must, with the iPhone-like smartphone.Everyhting from Google Maps to dozens of Web services-based applications to IOS system messages (and icloud!) Use data.?How on earth could be counted and everyone who framed the flux data into a data cap plan??Unlimited is a must.? ipad mac transfer (http://www.topdvdtoipad.com/ipad-magic-mac.html/) At Jealbreak can not lie ..?You need to set the sync settings to choose the apps that you want to have on your iPhone ..?

The answer will be "X" when it provides universal messaging across all interesting platforms without extra charges other than your data plan. That's not here yet, but it will be... convert mts to avi free (http://www.mts-to-avi.com/) I would like the iPhone 5 to take on a similar look as the iPad 2 with it's flat back and curves. A classic Apple iPod look yet easy to pick up off the table and would just fit right into your palm. Additionally, the speaker orientation will make loud speaker mode 'louder'

If I had my BB I BBM, but not often enough for him to a deal breaker if they do not have any other phone. I prefer to IOS as a total package, and with IMessage helps to make it even more as a platform well rounded. dvd copier mac (http://www.copydvdonmac.com/) Yes, I'd like to see Apple do what they've done in many other countries. Open it up to many carriers. For me, T-Mobile U.S. please! Shane You're probably right that AT&T is generally better in Southern California than in Northern California, but I live in Los Angeles and have no AT&T service where I live. That's why I (and all my iPhone-carrying neighbors) are on T-Mobile. (And, we can trace it specifically back to when AT&T Wireless divested themselves of an old Cingular cell tower. Literally 4-5 bars down to 0-1 bars.)

You raise a great topic for dialog, but I think you are again taking a term and defining it one narrow way to suit your line of thinking and to so definitively favor the iPhone. Usability is about effective use and usefulnes as well as (but not only) ease of use.You make some very appropriate concessions about Android and webOS, but it ends feeling like a setup to appear objective before rather arrogantly presuming to be the authority on a topic to tout the iPhone's superiority. Because of that, though I often love the topics, I often find your articles offputting. For me, though I love the iPhone, it makes me want to be adverse to itthough it is certainly in my opinion a great user experience. You make valid points, and it's great to love and favor a device, but you just don't need to take it that far, and I think your articles would be better received and more respected if you didn't.Objectivity is wonderful; and opinions and preferences are understandable, especially when rationally explained, but really should not be touted as undeniable fact no matter how strongly you may feel about it. It just doesn't come across well or credible to intelligent, informed thinkers.I like iOS, Android, and webOS, but for a mix of reasons finally switched from my beloved iPhone to the myTouch 4G on T-Mobile. The simplicity of the iPhone posed both functionality and usability issues for me, which finally led to my transitionand it certainly was a transition! I would agree that iOS is simpler but also limiting along with that, while Android is more intricate due to offering more functionality, options, and user control. However, there are numerous things I can do more easily on my myTouch 4G than on my iPhonenot to mention the things it can do that my iPhone simply can't.In the end, Android (at least for now) is serving me better. And though I don't find Android as polished as iOS, I do find it more capable it has the increased functionality I wanted, and for my purposes (productivity power user) its overall usability is higher than my iPhone because I can both do more and do key things more easily and efficiently. mac avi to dvd (http://www.avi-to-dvd-mac.com/) It's hard not to pick the Google Local Search complete with "GO" button as the best new feature... so I'll just give in and do it! Very cool feature!

My friend could not afford to be on the iPhone 3G no longer as he listened to service.?He said his ministry is now a few years later with an original iPhone, and since it comes with unlimited data, he could opt to unlimited.?So when the iPhone comes out five, he is still unlimited data with AT & T? dvd copier on mac (http://www.copydvdonmac.com/) Apple likes to play in this Hinsich.s just free publicity.According to the company in the spring. But who knows so exactly when Apple offers on Jobs
