hey being 13 suks, i hardly ever get a new game unless its for my birthday or christmas, i get no money, and i have to go to school evry bloody morning

I can't afford to buy games because of something called a mortgage and bills...and I have to get up and go work every morning.. LOL.. but I don't get homework or coursework and I don't have to revise.. yeah I agree being 13 sucks.. LOL.. but wait till u get to uni.. ahh Day Time TV.. Brilliant...

It sounds like your buggered lol....I hated school and at least with work you do have some cash to put aside for that new game that everyone else is getting except you.....:p

Totally agree, it was the least enjoyable experience of my life. For the sake of present & future generations it is my hope that not every school was as socially degenerated as mine was, with a backward curriculum, part time teachers (who were academically stunted so as to know less than the actual students they were supposed to be teaching) and who were seldom present. It was inconsistent and comprehensively flawed with ******ed, non-progressive, questionable standards.

Sorry for the rant ... My point is it's better being an adult!! lol!! Ben93, you have my sympathy! ;)

WoW... that sounds pretty bad... the school I went to wasn't the greatest but I had a good laugh and come out with decent grades... But school these days sounds alot tougher than 10 years or so...

Yeah I agree, school pretty much sucked when I was there too. Being at work is much much much much much much much much better lol. I think Alibombaye is right, school seems tougher than it was (13 years ago in my case).

Too right work is better, at least you get something out of it! lol!! Maybe school is tougher now, I don't know, but I'd assume it's dependant on the school and it's quality of teachers.

It's a shame to have an academically minded person discouraged from progressing academically. But thankfully further education exists, and restores faith in the system.

Lol, imo you have a pretty easier life at school though, i mean not that many pressures compared to real life. I'm 16 but i can imagine the stress and stuff from having to support a family and pay morgages etc. still school can be tough but it's about where you go i guess. I wish i was 13 again lol, you don't have much to worry about really... i mean no exams no coursework, no proper job, no debt and you don't have that many responsibilities. I can see as you get older you get more and more of those things :D

If you approach life with practicality, resourcefulness, intelligence and good humour, none of those things should really be too much of a worry. I wouldn't say having a mortgage is any more stressful than renting, and it's worth the cost for independence alone. I'd never turn the clock backwards, live for the moment.
