I popped over to Milton Keynes this evening to get some last minute shopping done and was trying to track down some bits for my Daughter, which took me to Argos Extra.
I was waiting at the collection point to pick up my stuff when I looked through the windows of the double doors to the left of the colletion point and what do I see, at least 10 Wii's (possibly more) stacked on top of each other in the warehouse/depot area. So I asked the girl at the collection point if she knew if they were stock or not and she said she didn't know ( and looked like a rabbit caught in some headlights when I asked her!)
The next thing her manager walks over ( a right smarmy bloke) and says they are not for sale and they are reserved. He got a bit shirty with me too, I was being very polite in asking but he just said "Sorry mate, we haven't got any!" I realise he must get asked this a hundred times a day but I was merely asking and there was no need to take that sort of tone with me!
Now could they be reserved or are they stock sitting there? (for their staff to cash in on!!)
