Guys was wondering if anyone has had this problem with there wii? My wii is on 24/7 turned it on from standby today as normal with the wiimote all was well went onto message read them ok went onto internet channel that was ok then went onto everybody votes channel.
Basicly its was as if the batteries had run out on the wiimote i could not use it, it turned itself off i just put new batteries in it so changed them again still nothing all the wiimote did was flash the four blue led lights at the base of the mote then off.
in the end i turned off the wii removed the batteries from wiimote left it for 30 mins turned it all back on with the same batteries in wiimote as before and its all working again.
Has this happend to other wii's & owners hope its a one off avent in my wii life
I've heard of this happening before, and I think it all sorts itself out eventually. A friend on another forum wrote:
I have had this on my Wii and we had it on a friends when we went round there with my Wiimotes. I just left everything off and when I came back to it the next day it was fine. Its never happened since. Have you got a second Wiimote? Try going into the Wiimote settings (Press home then click on the picture of the wiimote for its settings) and pairing it up again. Other than that I don't know. Or try pairing it up again by opening the flap on the Wii and pressing the little red button at the same time as the little red button inside the back of the Wiimote.
when someone else had the same problem...and it was fine the next day. No wii for you tonight, though.

I had this happen once also:eek:
All I did was flick the power switch at the rear of the Wii off then on and it fixed itself. I guess its nothing more than a little technical hitch that a future system update will fix.

Hey, no worries bud, your Wii's working and thats the most important thing in the world lol lol lol......oh and your family:p
i only have one anoying poblem, not a major one or anything. mu wii is generally set up to my tv un stairs in a window facing 'east'. so on weekend or days off when i play mid morning to lunch when the sun is shining into the room the remote wont let me point into the corner of the screeen which is closer to the window. my belief is that the sun shining on the window has some effect on the sensor or wiimote as it doesn't happen at night or when i close the blinds.
weird heh?
I once played at some friends' house, they had candles in the living room. The wiimotes wouldn't work until we blew them out. Similar principle, I should think.
