Punch-Out!! lag issue

I've noticed on the web that people who have downloaded Punch-Out!! from the VC, which was released last week, are complaining of lagging graphics when playing this boxing game. This problem is only an issue when being played through a HDTV.

Has anyone here noticed this or have you noticed other issues when playing VC games on HDTV?
