my brother has one pre ordered from them, ordered it on 25th september. he has heard nothing from them. but thats twice that have briefly gone on sale today. surely they should be fulfilling pre orders first. well like to think they would be

I think they are fulfilling pre-orders but this gives you a chance to get on the list, thats my thought anyhow but i'm not sure.

Ive just noticed something.
Even though I got it added to cart, but didn't get payment through in time, I went back to check my cart, and it has quantity 6?! You can't even choose the quantity when you click the add to cart.. Something funny is going on..

hmm seems play are up to something, i remeber when i tried to order from them, it kept putting in quantity 2, but i deleted one but it was still 2, so i went with game, unfortunately

Hi Guys

I heard that Play had made some available today, the guy I work with tried getting one but missed out and he is getting really frustrated. I'm confident that some will appear again before Christmas, not just with Play but other places. I think it is a matter of being patient and trying every avenue, if you want one of these so bad you have got to put the effort in unfortunately. What makes it annoying is when you you see idiots on eBay with a living room full of the things.

I desperately want to find my friend one, it will make his Christmas. He was gutted that he missed out on the Amazon batch (twice) and now Play.

Not really :( we use IPCheck from paessler.com which is $400+ for a decent version, but can monitor pages for specific content and can send out sms/emails on error. Wish I was interested in this a few weeks ago and I could have setup a system online.

This gives me an idea. Would anyone want to set up an SMS group where if we see some in stock somewhere or on see an announcement on here we text each other so we know? It's just an idea, only because I realise that some people aren't near a computer when someone announces that a shop has Wii's in stock. It might improve chances of people that haven't got one of getting one before Christmas. 5 people could take 5 peoples numbers and if they see something then text they text each other, sort of like a calling group.

This might sound like an idea that just wouldn't work but it's just a thought, quite possible a "Jerro has had a bit too much pre Christmas sherry and needs sleep" thought, but a thought nonetheless!!
