Anyone have this game, it's awesome, like a sci-fi action horror FPS. Wow is it freaky sometimes, i'm not one to be scared easily and i love my horrors (mainly because they're so silly that it's funny). But boy did i nearly jump out of my seat when this seemingly invisible being jumped out while i was minding my own business and clawed at me for most of my life. It's basically a game were you start off as a guy (who gets called stalker) and you don't know who you are. The area is around the nuclear accident of Chernobyl, there are many soldiers, bandits and scientists. Unfortunately there are many mutants too, including my invisible friend.
As with alot of FPS's the fun comes from blasting a zombies head off with a shotgun from about a yard out, the fighting style is very cool, it's just a huge overworld with many quests and tasks you must accomplish. As you progress further you find great guns (shotguns, pistols, sniper rifles, rocket launchers etc.) and armour, the world is dubbed the zone due to high levels of radiation which will hurt and kill you if you are exposed without treatment.
However, sometimes I almost dread going on it because i love the rush when engaged in a deadly fight with highly skilled soldiers (very good AI) but yet i'm always expecting some bloodsucking freak around the corner. The best one i've found yet is an invisible ball that commands fire to attack you.
Anyway i would definately reccommend it to anyone (it even has an online mode!) but it's not for the faint hearted.
Heres some info from IGN if you're interested:
