Hold on to your hats chaps because online gaming in the UK has an official date. On 25th May Mario Strikers Charged Football (http://wiifind.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2074) arrives in the shops and its most exciting feature is its compatibility with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, which will allow you to compete in ranked matches against other players via the internet (including members of Wiifind :P ).

Just think that the US had Pokemon for there first online game :lol:

Sounds great, we'll have to see how well it's implemented though but it's positive news. :D

It's not really a game I've been thinking of buying but it's an important game, this is the game that's really going to show the direction of Ninty's Wi-Fi Connection on Wii.

Please make it good Ninty!

i'll probably get it just for the wifi factor, i wasn't planning on buying it but probably will now :)

Yeah i mean i wasnt planning on buying it either but as theve decided to add Online play then ill get it now! Ive got a feeeling the gameplay wont be that good, but who knows. Any preview videosabout?

There was footage on a free dvd with n-gamer mag a month or two ago.
I think it will be fun, as long as you dont think of it as a 'soccer' game, more
of a Mario arcade sports game.

This is very good news, and it will be interesting to see how the Wii's first UK online game goes. Not sure if I'll get it, but the GC's recent version was said to be good.

And the other great news of the week was Sega more or less confirming that the Wii will be getting an exclusive version of the Saturn classic NiGHTS, which will also boast a multiplayer and online mode. Gaming heaven :D

thats made me even happier now, I was planning on getting this game anyway since it looked like a fun game, can't wait for the first official WiiFind Mario Strikers tournament!

Unfortunately it's released just as my exams begin, so it'll make it even more hell not being able to play it.

It should be a great distraction from exams when you need time to relax.
Then again some of us will hammer the first online game so bad you may
be playing catch up for a while. I don't have tinternet at home so I'll have
to head round my wifi friends house to play. I guess i should go round before and try and set up these friend code things.
Do you think it will be easy for me to set up some wiifind contacts for game time, considering its at someone else's house on their computer?
