I just had a sneak preview of the new wiifind design and i think it looks amazing!!! :D Have a feeling your going to love it! If the designers let me il put a jpg of the homepage up for your feedback. It would be great to get some opinions before it goes to development.
It keeps the WiiFind green but is really smooth, curvy and sleek. Cant wait!

:D Designer is finishing off some "spacing" then il put a screenshot up for you! Its pretty much done so it should be ready in a few hours. The only thing we will need is someone who can make the forum match and look good. Im useless and the designers dont do forums apparently! If you are good with Vbulletin then it would be great to get some help there.

I like it, nice and clear. Much better to not have all the text at the top of the page, more welcoming IMO
Do you want the same sort of styling on the forum?
Think I have a css editor plugin for firefox at home, will have a play around!

Nice! Yeah i really like it too. Colours, info, pages all ok? Any features you would like to see that arent on www.reallyps3.com?
Yeah CSS editor sounds good. It might not even require that much stuff. you can change most of the CSS simply through the admin pannel I think but a more in depth job requires some css skill.

If you can get the CSS file used on that html page it would be much easier!

ahhh ok. Yeah I can sort that out.

I can't think of anything, they both look very similar. The colours look great and the layout works well.

You can easily change the colours in VBulletin's admin panel, and theres a few boxes for easily changing CSS styles. Anyone really clever can design new buttons etc, but just modding the style should do.
Anyone wanting to play about with VBulletins look should use their DEMO site:

But I can't see the admin panel and the FF plugin allows me to edit in line without screwing it up for everyone else.
Getting the CSS file used will make it easier to get the right colours and styles used.

The admin panel is in the top right hand corner. Check out this site for all the help you may need: http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1367

I meant, because I'm not admin on this site local
Cheers though, have had a look and it does offer quite a nice interface for editing the main css file.

Ahhh got ya, you'd be better off with the CSS file for the new site. That way you can use the the same style as the rest of the site which is an improvement over this one.

I have passed on your kind comments to the designers!
I have been told it may take a while longer than I assumed to migrate to the updated version. Fingers crossed it should be by the end of the week. I will let you know when this is as there may be some downtime during the update.
this might sound stupid but would we have 2 make new accounts ???
the new site sounds realy good though,

Few changes to the design
Option 1 finished:

Option 2

What do you like best!?
huzzellio

Option 2 for me, I like the way the images go behind the navigation bar. Very nice.

Option 2! It has a bigger banner/logo so it attracts more people in a way and tell them exactly what the site is about.
they both look great put option2 is the best 4 me

No not likely. All our posts will also be transferred over im sure.

Yeah dont worry, we have some software in place to transfer all data to the new forum. We have run a few sucessful tests. We want to make sure it works perfectly before moving it over which is why its taking so long to get ready.

Like the new layout of site but one small thing (don't know if it's been mentioned).
Could you change the colour of the text in the grey bar of each post has I can bearly make out the date, time or post count on my laptop, any chance of making it white out rather than the grey.
Cheers, Spenner.

Quick question, how do you edit your signature and avatar or has this option not been added yet? I can't find anywhere to modify my profile, the only thing I can find is the "my account" link which doesn't really show a lot.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks Matt, another question though (you'll be sick of me by the end of this), is it possible to link a signature to the URL of a picture on my webspace? The upload facility only allows an image of 2kb which seems extremely small. I see you can enter an off-site URL to upload the picture but not to simply display a picture from off-site. I can also see the img tag on signatures is turned off, is this why?
Also, are animated gif's completely off limits? Because this is turned off too, my old avatar was an animated gif y'see.
Sorry for being so annoying :)
