Resident Evil 4 comes to the Wii with added Wii Remote and Nunchuck support, allowing players to immerse themselves in the game as never before. With RE4 Wii Edition, Capcom is offering new and more immersive sense of control to players, while keeping all of the game's incredible game systems intact. As Leon Kennedy, players explore a town overrun by cultists, mutants and mind-controlled villagers, using the Wii Remote to aim, fire, slash and avoid oncoming adversaries with intuitive motions and movements. RE4 Wii Edition also contains the additional content included in the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system version of the game. [Capcom]
Average Score 9/10

+button= Call Ashley... I'm still trying to rescue her in 4.
I guess this means she survives to live another day.

I missed this game first time round on the Cube and while some can only see it as a quick money grabbing move for Capcom, I'm glad it's being re-released because finidng a copy for the Cube at a reasonable price is very difficult, so getting a brand new copy designed for the Wii is a great decision and I too plan to buy it.
hmm not fussed about it (probably slightly annoyed but hey wat ya gonna do) i got the gc version, only difference i can c is the controls. i REALLY hope this doesn't change anything to do with RE umberella chronicals!

Its now known that the US are to see this released as a bugdet title on the Wii, RRP of $29.99 USD. This hopefully applies to us very poor UK folk who can hope to see a £20 price tag at release.

I think I'll buy this as soon as it is release, I'm looking really foward to Resident Evil 4Wii Edition because I have never played it on any other console. I have found it for only £22.99 http://www.shopto.net/page.php?page=dettagli&matcat=&categ=&platform=&codart=WIIRE02

Thats a give away at that price:cool:
I've pre-ordered through amazon but I've gone for free delivery so it may not arrive until the following week of release. I'm really looking forward to being scared out of my wits. Truth be known I've only played the very first Resi game when it came out and it really got to me, I couldn't play it with the lights off and sometimes I had to pause it to get a reality check....lol now your all going to mock me for being a wuse:o

Did you get hold of a copy, did anybody purchase this blockbuster of a game today? I pre-ordered mine from Amazon but I chose to have free delivery so it won't turn up until Tuesday next week. If anyone wants to rub it in that they have it already feel free......i just hope you get terrifying nightmares:p

Mine arrived on Thursday, but I've only just got home to play it. I had already had a quick go on the Japanese version of the game, but I've had a proper go at it now, and it's awesome! I've completed the PS2 version, and I'm looking forward to playing it through again with the new controls. Using the shotgun with the Wii remote is the most satisfying thing ever!

Not got this yet, but will do when the wallets got some folding stuff in it again, lol.
According to a review in this mornings paper, if you didn't play RE on the Gamecube then this is a must buy for the Wii.

Even if you have played it on the GC I'd say it's worth picking up, for the new control scheme and the extra missions. The fact it's only £25 or so is also a bonus.

Got to say I'm enjoying this far more than when I owned it on 'Cube. The controls are brilliant, and totally immerse you into the adrenaline-pumping, blood-curdling, knee-trembling, heart-racing, high-octane, underwear-soilingly cool action.
I'd recommend any fans of the genre to obtain a copy asap. It feels welcomingly fresh on Wii. Brilliant. Thank you Capcom.
P.S. If I ever hear a chainsaw again ... Brrrrr ....

Huh? Wha-? Arrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Using the rifle scope is like an extension of your arm. So damn satisfying blowing those freaks heads off. To anyone who says that's unhealthy behaviour, then console yourself by stroking stray dogs or something. Besides, you need stress relief after working with bureaucrats all day! lol!

Finally got my copy today...what can I say this game is so intense and scary... edge of seat stuff... I'm impressed with the graphics and I heard they are the worst aspect of the game... would be nice to see a game that actually pushes the wii abit more...
I've got work tomorrow/today and had to force myself off it... 1:30 am at the moment.
