Sony Turn To Wii

Today President of Sony North America Frank Newmark announced that Sony would begin bundling a Nintendo Wii console with every PlayStation 3 system sold. The Wii is by far the biggest selling console in the US and Sony believe this move will boost disappointing sales. This bundle will be sold for the same cost of a lone PS3, effectively their giving the Wii away.
This is great news for US gamers who are still unable to get their hands on a Wii. With sales slow to take off in Europe, lets hope we get a similar bundle over here. As we've already got a Wii what would you like to see in a future bundle?

I just tried to find some evidence for this and the only news article I could find was on a website which also had headlines like - "japanese kids super glue wii remotes to their hands" and "dad sells daughter to buy a wii, mom sells son to by ps3"

I thought I could run this one for the day but your too sharp. Yes its a windup, the story comes from a satire news site www.bbspot.com, I thought it was very funny as it could almost be believed. I've posted this on ReallyPS3.com, hopefully it winds up a few PS3 fanboys :lol:

I don't think they need much winding up though. When you see even Marks & Spencer staff desperate to sell you a PS3 then you know something's not quite right, lol.
