Hi all

I like loads of other people will soon be the proud owner of both a Wii and a PS3! I think they are both so unique that we need 2 consoles much to my banks disappointment!

As a result we are developing a new site www.reallyps3.com. You may be interested to watch the site develop (which has many problems at the moment) because many of the cool features on there will be in the new version of WiiFind!

So... we need as many PS3 fans as possible to help kick start the community on reallyps3.com as well! We will be recruiting moderators, reviewers and blog posters to the site. If you are a developer then we could also use your help to develop new features to be used on WiiFind and reallyps3.com as well.

Please PM me with your details or reply to this post if you would like to be a part of the new developments.

Apologies to all the die hard Nintendo Fanboys out there for introducing some PS3 posts here! I personally think that we are lucky at the moment to have such different consoles available.

Let me know what you are thinking!

Matt

Its looking really cool, can't wait for the Wiifind updates :D
I'm not sure I need a Blue-ray player just yet, haven't even got a HD TV yet, so I'm prepared to wait to see how things turn out between the 360 and the PS3.
I'm too dedicated to Wiifind that I probably can't spare any time helping build the community at www.ReallyPS3.com but I wish it all the success that Wiifind is having and hope it has the same quality of members we have here :D

I hope to get a PS3 in the future when the price drops (by quite a lot lol) and love the look of it. When I do I've no doubt I'll use the new forum :D

i doubt i will get one for a couple of years so i may join then :p *wonders if there will be wars between the two forums*

Yeah I wouldnt be suprised if there are a few wars! Maybe it could be settled with an online XBOX 360 game!!! :D Only kidding!

Yeah PS3 is very expensive, I think for most people it will be a case of waiting to see what heppens with its development. In the meantime its all about the Wii!

I'm a developer, not done much with forums etc. I use ColdFusion as a language, so implied HTML, XML and CSS. Good with databases too. If I can be of assistance just ask.

I'll not be a PS3 owner (at least not straight off!) though...

Thanks Heapy. Really appreciate any help with the sites! Might give you a shout at some point about some new features. Likewise if you want to make any cool features and add them to the site then go for it! I can always put you in touch with the developers to discuss any ideas you want to develop.

At the moment we are pretty limited with development resources so any help is great!

Any other help (non dev wise) is always great too! thelocaluk has made up some really good news letter templates. In the next version of wiifind and reallyps3 users will be able to add, edit and delete games, reviews and news as well from the site so it would be great to get everyone involved.

Yeah its pretty great actually. The forum layout also looks good and eye-catching. Anyone on Wiifind signed up for Reallyps3 forums yet?

:( Big shame. Well it will only get better, loads of the best features are yet to come so maybe one for the future.

It needs a price drop, any chance of one in the next few days? Playstation Home looks amazing.

I've still got no doubt I'll chip into the new forum occasionally with my views on new titles etc :D

like the layout as evereyone has said, couple of things only improvments,

on the first title page there are a couple of games top right corner, i'm presuming these are always going to be the new games for ps3? well couple of ideas for that, maybe have a little more info when you click on the 'i' symbol next to the games, as the page it takes you to has a tiny little piece of info with a huge page to fill. this maybe only optional only once you have a review or you'v played the game tho, i dunno.
....after writing about some other stuff (took me ages i realised something which made it all wrong, **** lol)....noticed the info thing above is for all the games once i finaly found the button at the top of ur page (dumnass lol).

is there a link between wiifind and reallyps3?

Just been over to visit our PS3 brothers. I know I am in the minority here but, I think this site feels lighter, brighter and a friendlier place to be.
I do understand we won't be changing over to those colours and style necessarily.
I think both sites are well designed with their users in mind, Sony being very modern and cutting edge and Nintendo more fun and cartoony. I am looking forward to the new features and things to play with but I do prefer the overall layout and design we have now.

anyway I'm sure I wont remember or care once we've made the switch!
