Saving Tiger Woods golf mid way through round or season-HELP

Picked up Tiger Woods for the Wii over the weekend....do you know how to save the game mid way through a round ? I have started a PGATour season, but cannot find how to save it - every time i go back in it starts me from Hole 1.

you can't save during a round, you have to do it at the end
