I know it, you know it, Ninty know's it and Microsoft ain't to worried about it......seems like Sony doesn't want to believe it as the Wii continues to dominate the market.
The Wii is out selling the PS3 by almost three to one. In February the Wii shipped 355,000 consoles, the same as both Sony and Microsoft's figures for that month. Microsoft's console now features in 5.1 million US homes, which gives Sony an uphill battle to climb. Sony are finding themselves playing catchup for the first time ever.
Douglas A McIntyre, analyst at 24/7 Wall Street said "If the Xbox and the games that work on it continue to gain share, Sony is in real trouble. The Wii caters to a different, lower price point in the market, and should continue to roll up big numbers. Not so the PlayStation."
