An employee of DigiPen has leaked speculation that Sega Saturn games will make an appearance on Virtual Console. DigiPen's campus, the prestigious video game academy in Washington, are linked to Nintendo America’s offices by a corridor, adding strength to this rumour. If true it might still be way off before this becomes reality. This would bring a selection of higher quality games to the expanding retro VC catalogue.

Ah, that's some good news. I can't see why this wouldn't be possible. Great stuff.

Great stuff! Sega saturn was a good console in its days, Not so popular but i thought it was just as good as the Megadrive. I wonder what games they'll choose to out up first. If they put Saturn games on the VC then its more than likely they'll choose to include other console games in the future.

Maybe Gameboy games?

Big downloads though surely?

I also think the size of the download could be a problem, so I slightly suspect this being iffy news. Saturn games were CD based, which held more memory then the cartridge based games. I'm sure there are ways round it, but I'm not sure about this.

it would be good, but ye bit iffy about the size of download, imagine how long it would take if it was gonna happen in the CD size.
