just read on web page that game are possibly having a large stock delivery next tues or weds & again before christmas.here's hoping

yes they had one delivery yesterday for pre orders and thety are getting one next week for selling

no not ordered one yet but im not paying the prices ebay want.i would like one for christmas but i dont want to get ripped of for one either

Game in alershot said they will be getting a delivery next week for general sale.

We need to find this date and queue outside waiting for them to open
bring a friend and get extras to help out other one here is my plan

alanjennings, do you mean aldershot? I went in there on Saturday and they said that they have had all their stock in already as I was moaning about my internet preorder not being forfilled. The guy said they had all their stock in already for christmas!

yeah ment aldershot and went in yesterday lunch time, live in Reading but work in Basingstoke so am able to pop over if needed and turn up work late.

Will keep an eye on this and i suggest people ring up regualy.

I have pestered the manager at the Game Store in Scarborough for nearly 4 days now with the possiblity of getting my own wii for Christmas. I have now been informed that they are not getting any stock fro general sales until the new year. So now I have to wait until my birthday. I'm not a happy bunny. My possible 2006 Christmas Present from my parents is now not going to appear. I could ring the necks of Nintendo. I'm really losing interest now. :( :x

hey dont give up....still a few days till xmas and they always seem to find stock near or on xmas eve....keep trying tescos extra, asdas as by the sound of it they really no not know when they get stock in until the day and even the game store salespeople change their story every day...just keep your ears to the ground and keep phoning around daily...DONT GIVE UP!! :wink:

I ordered from Game (online) on the 6th Nov. Phoned up this morning. My order is being packed and will be delivered pre-xmas :D

I just rang that number above. Got put on hold. Give up in the end.
I have just emailed game asking them why they r putting them out on
general sale before honouring preorders. I suggest anyone who as preordered with game and not recieved yet does the same.
Might at least **** them off if we pester them.

I've heard a rumour that

GAME store in Lakeside Thurrock, Es*** (the store on 1st floor not second), will have Nintendo Wii on sale tomorrow morning (19th Dec) at 9:00am.
Stocks are limited and it is only available to collect.
It has to be bought in a pricey pack though - 500 quid!

For this you get Wii, 7 games titles, extra controller, memory card and accessories.

Shocking price, but you could have a wii for xmas. I need 1 but aint paying that :!: :!: for it.

Got a Wii from GAME this morning :D . Was forced to buy a £350 bundle with Wii Play, Zelda, Red Steel, Monkey Ball and Monster Truck 4x4 but with the exception of 4x4 I was planning to get all of those anyway so I didnt care! I'm glad they could see I was a genuine fan and not eBay scum!

After hearing the rumours last night I went into my local store in Epsom at 9am this morning and was told they were expecting 15 Wii's to arrive. They didn't turn up till lunchtime but it was definately worth the wait!

Not sure if you'll find any now (by about 10am they had stopped taking people's names to reserve one) but it just goes to show that if you keep persisting and follow up every lead you hear you'll get one in the end! Don't give in to the eBay t*ssers!

It was all they were offering. It seems a bit of an extreme way to try and ensure they're going to end up in people's homes and not on eBay but I wasn't going to complain....

see this is where it is wrong for game....but they can get away with it!cause they will only sell pre packaged bundles which are expensive and dont have to bother with ur pre-order as its not the same package u ordered....As they bring out a new type of bundle and add and change things that wont match pre orders that u make!

Its a bit of a con really...everybody knows there are boxes of wii's in some warehouse waiting to be on the shelves in the new year! :(

The Game employee also said that his Game colleagues also had around the same number each and were selling them privately!!!

well after speaking to the local store in Barnet...they are not allowed to buy the wii's until they are in less demand....If I am able to get hold of one tomorrow...and there may be a good chance....who would be able to go to the Barnet store in Herts tomorrow?...I do not need one but I missed out on one this morning and they said they would put my name down for tomorrow and that there is a good chance of them coming in...they only got 6 today!...if anyone is interested please PM me? :wink:
