Wii "Popularity Channel"

During Shigeru Miyamoto's keynote speech today at the GDC, he revealed that a new channel will soon be added to the Wii. It will be a popularity channel where you compare Mii's with people from all over the world. :?

Shigeru stated "Today people are so taken with the Miis around the world. Im working on a new Mii channel. With this channel we are going to let people compare the Miis they created in a popularity contest. And you will be allowed to do this with people from around the world."

Nothing more is known at this time but I'll keep you posted as this news develops :P so keep checkin back for updates on this new channel.

Agreed. Although I havn't seen the voting chanel yet it sounds like the coolest thing about it is that they sprung it on us from nowhere! me wonders what else they have in development.
