Cardiff Area Expected Deliveries???

I've been around most of the electrical retailers in Cardiff City centre and getting the following responses:

Game: Expecting delivery week ending 15/12, though that one will be to honour any pre-orders. Another delivery expected end of following week and that will be first come first served.
Gamestation/Currys.digital: On honouring pre-orders
HMV: Don't seem to know
Virgin: Expecting a delivery in this week, maybe, other than that end of next week. No pre-orders to honour
Argos: Notice on door to say that stock expected next week but for home delivery only.

Try Asda Coryton on the 20th they will be having a delivery mate i will check with the wife today to make sure that is still the case for you

well it was 20 launch day i know that and they go on sale st 12 midnight so some queuing might be involved!!! but i will get a specific correct date for you this evening.

Just got mine from ASDA minworth called then at 12 they said they might have some and 6 people were in a que.

i got there was number 12 (they had about 20) and got Wii play and Zelda.

The wife just confirmed the 20th Asda in coryton didnt have any today just phoned the wife.

Im going on the hunt and doing the phoning rounds tomorrow, it'll be my 21st birthday and im feeling lucky!

Sooooo close!!! Rang Tesco Llantrisant at 9.30pm last night. Got told that they had just sold the last about 10 minutes before I rang. Tesco Bridgend are not stocking them, nor it would appear are Asda Cardiff Bay.

Asda Coryton looking the only possibility at the mo.

Virgin Megastore (Cardiff), no stock today, not likely tomorrow either.

HMV, no stock, defo only honouring pre-orders with anything they do get. However I did notice they have started taking the Wii by advertising bundles only, cheapest being £250.

I was in Tesco Llantrisant when they anounced that they had Wiis in stock at 8.50pm by the timne i got round there they were gone gutted!!

Guy I spoke to last night said they only seem to be getting them in overnight deliveries. Wife was there by 9.30 this morning.

I suggest just keep phoning the tesco extra stores twice daily at say midday & around 4ish :wink:

I have GOT to get hold of one within the next week... its my 21st birthday today and i really need to play one lol! hi, i jut phoned my local tesco who had 40 machines delivered yesterday and hoping another shipment due early next week - so ill give them a call from you, if i can get hold of one ill buy it, then I will sell it on at RRP as long as someone pays for postage etc..

Morning Wiiers the wife just said Asda coryton have some on sale at midnight tonight there number is 02920 613213 you better check with them this is subject to change!!

She also said the Bay Asda already have there Wiis in store but not sure when they are selling them or there store number sorry!!
