A very big change of heart, Im really happy! My auntie managed to find a Nintendo Wii on ebay going for £190 :D And she went and bought it! I'm actually feeling great and some more good news for myself it will be arriving in a weeks time (Before xmas) Wooo! Wooo! sorry i just feel so much better.. sorry about all the moaning yesterday haha.

If people are really worried about tha fact that they wont be gettin there Wii before xmas then look on ebay sereously the prices seem to be gettin lower (Maybe some people do actually haave hearts!)

Cheers guys and thanks for the feeling sorry for me lol, yeah it turns out more people are gettin there now. as i keep saying if you really want one before xmas then Ebay is probably your best bet but you will probably end up having to spend at least £70 more.

Yeah good idea, if you gonna go with ebay then what i did was i clicked on BUY NOW only and then clicked on the DROP-DOWN menu and changed the search to Highest price first, that way all the Wii's come first, scroll to the end of the Wii's where it gets cheap and take your pick.

yup thats what i did, unfortunate about the price though, after spending £400 of my money on Wii/games/christmas presents etc. i dont want to spend too much more at the moment :(

Yeah it seemed that so many people where just to late on amazon as they went so fast but really quite a few people i know managed to get one. Com'on amazon get another batch in!

Am still watiing for play.com but seriously doubt that will turn up before jan.

And just had a play on amazon and set up this one click, am so miffed i didnt know about it before as i had a wii in my basked and was going through payment details.....damn!

yeah but not the prices ebay are charging, i have the cash but am not double the price desperate.

If i do find myself itching for a console and wii's are still not available will grab a 360 instead as that will tide me over till jan when wii will be all over the place...lol

If amazon do the same as last time definitely use the 1-Click ordering if you can, even so I clicked it two or three times just for it to say that they were out of stock. Odd really as they seemed to be adding stock one at a time rather than the whole batch at once :?

hmm that is odd, i personally think something fishy happened with that amazon 2nd release. Seem like too many happened to come on sale and get into the new and used section at the same time, maybe an early xmas bonus to certain members of staff?

I managed to get one on my second attempt, although as yet it hasn't arrived. The estimated dispatch date was yesterday and estimated delivery date was today. I've not even received a dispatch email yet.

I wonder if the ones they made available last week are their second batch and they have pre-sold them thinking they would get here a bit quicker and there has been some delay.

Incidentally, my friend that works for tesco has said that any news or dates of more Wii's coming in before Christmas is being kept under tight wraps. He works at one of the main offices, not collecting the trollies so he's a reliable source. :)

Asda is having another delivery on the 20th my misses has informed me but not sure if it will just be 20 consoles again like last week!!!

They are not taking pre orders and will be on sale from 12 midnight

i think their so called second batch were cancellations from the first order where people got 'dispatched' from other sources as loads seem to order from 7 places to ensure getting 1 on delivery.

If ASDA are saying 20th then this fits in with the delivery into uk by end of the week. Think i will chat to boss about turning up late to work after spending 10 hours in a queue...

It was manic down there last Thurday the wife works there so i am lead to believe my Wii is under the tree and if it aint after the hints she has dropped i will be filling for divorce thats for sure

I should hang on in there. My delivery estimate just after I ordered was the 9th, then an out later it was 9th Feb(!) then I get a despatch email on Saturday...

nope, 'coz mine arrived yesterday from that batch. Maybe they accidentally sold more than they had in which case you are one of the lucky few that have an order with them and will be first in the queue for the next batch.
