been seeing alot of:

'delivery 9 weeks'
'expected 30/1/07'

I want peoples opinion, would you say that this suggests next delivery is not till jan/feb or are these companies playing it safe?

I places my order 11/10/06 with PLAY.com and have awaiting stock as my status, I have no idea when they will get stock in though they claim a second batch will be out before xmas. They can not tell me if i will part of that second batch.

So was this whole pre order of the wii worth it?

doesnt look like it, i think the companies are playing it safe, if some of them can get it out before xmas, why cant all of them?

Play was kinda silly really, not actally stopping preorders when they knew they had gone over their limit, as for the second batch probably will be very soon and most people will get before christmas i reckon.

hearign rumours of second batch being wednesday, i wonder if play will get a order of 6300 to cope with the rest of their pre orders instead of 300 as before.

Yeah that is pretty silly, does anyone know for certain when the next batch of wii's will get in.?

im not sure, its still set as pre order, but im with the second batch so im told

think it was on there I heard wednesday, I have also heard it from a few shops i went into the guys said they may be getting an order in mid week and such. So putting it all together seems the rumour may be right.

in all honesty mate i have been so annoyed with this situation and how i actually got upset about not getting it on time (im 22 and sulked like a child). That I have given up all hope of recieving it before xmas, in fact after playing gears of war around a mates I have decided to get a 360 whilst i wait for the wii to turn up by march...

also not going to order through play.com again, will use gameplay or game in future.

Well i pre-order my on the 28th sept and i didnt get my nintendo wii on the release day. So i phone up play.com and there said that i wont be getting my intill mid-jan cus i didnt pre-order it before 15th sept! So am sorry to say m8 but it looks like most ppl wont be getting there intill jan...

But i hope what am sayin to you aint true and everyone in the uk who pre-order gets it before xmas. Nintendo should stop messin ppl around and just release the console. Its not nice from a parent point of view, to pre-order the wii console for your kids and not get it before xmas.

I dont think they understand how anoying it really is i mean they must have known how popular it was going to be.. and did u hear about that they sent 2 million over to north america and everywhere else had to share the other 2 million.. sorry about all this moaning but its sereously doing me head in!!
