Feel bad for my boss as wanted to get it for son for xmas, im prob going to grab a 360 instead now as wont have issues picking up gears of war!
RE amazon, all i managed was to click on the add to cart and was gone.... not happy, all those ****ing ebayers grabbing an extra one. Those ***** should be linched!

and dude, delivery in 9 weeks! Come on im sure play will have it in in 9 weeks, so many of these crappy fly by night companies have been set up in order to grab ur cash then wait till nintendo get them in, saw one for 14 weeks earlier...
9 weeks!! oh i hope GAME doesnt take that long, i cant wait 2 months and a week again!!! this is very annoying, very very annnoying!!! ill just keep my order with GAME though as i think im quite a way up the que
I managed to get one :) and Order details said expected delivery 9 Dec 06, but after they thought about it they changed the date to beginning of Feb 07 :( so I guess i'm stuck in an Amazon pre-order queue now.
february!!! oh my god, thisis getting worse and worse!!! i feel sorry for you zorb
Yeah especially as they first said i'd be getting it tomorrow! I guess the system allowed more to be sold than they had.
All I can hope is that feb is a worst case estimate and i'm near the front of the pre-order queue :(
lets hope so, if your lucky you may get it in 2006, but begining of 2007 isnt too bad
Yep that wouldn't be too bad. :)
Seeing as they haven't been taking any pre-orders since they sold out the first time and they're not taking any more now there can't be too many people in the queue you'd hope. Might as well stay in the queue as I won't get charged until they send it.
thats a good attitude, i suspect most of us on here are in a relativley good position in the queues lol
i suspect most of us on here are in a relativley good position in the queues lol
If only we knew if it was position 1 or 1000! :)
lol h, thats why im phoning GAME soon, and hopefuly they wil giveme a more accurate delivery date
An update from Amazon today to say my Wii order has been dispatched
I'll believe it when i get my hands on it
oh you lucky...damn it!!! lol

Hi there
I saw your post and had to chuckle. I agree the people that buy in-demand stuff like concert tickets or the Wii in mass supply and sell them for escalated prices are C**ts (trying to give up saying that word as it popped out of my mouth the other day when my 2 year old daughter was in the room!!) but who's the bigger cu*t, the person that is selling them for an over inflated price or the people that are willing to pay the prices?
I was one of the lucky few that managed to get a Wii when Amazon made some available and when I told one of the guys I work with that I managed to get one he was willing to offer me £300 there and then so he could have it! I certainly thought about it and am now tempted to join the C*nt Corporation and sell the Wii on eBay. I mean if I get £360 back for it I then can go and buy one when they become available and technically it will be free.
I wouldn't say I am out of order for doing that, it seems business sense but at the same time I do see where you're coming from. If only Nintendo had made more stock or people didn't pay over inflated prices then we'd be all happy and I wouldn't be having a moral dilemma!
