Being one of those 'Pesky half-term kids' and all my mates being at school I have alot of free time this week, AND NO DAM WII. Just to let y'all know I'm registered at every site on the net that sells Wiis for optumun purchasing speeds. Why am I telling you this crap?

Because I will purchase as many as I can when they come in stock and cancel the orders at a later time for y'all to purchase. PM me if you want me to give you a time and site when I will make Wiis available.

Thanking you in advance for thanking me in advance for my gracious service.

P.S Amazon.de is back in stock and there is no reason not to get one from there. This link is long but it translates the sit to english:

Hi 00lloyd

Rather than PM's please can you post links to WiiStock in the forum. This way everyone can see the info!

Good luck!

Ok I'll post links here just before I cancel the orders.

P.S If anyone needs help with ordering from amazon.de post here and I'll help asap. For about 180 there are private sellers there who will get the Wii to your door by tomoz.

I know the German Wii is U.K. pal compatible with the correct plug but does the internet connection work o.k. in the U.K. as well ?

Dude, it works using wifi (or LAN via usb adapter). The technology doesn't change depending on the country. You simply configure the wireless settings on the Wii (SSID, WEP, WPA etc) and your away. I think using LAN via usb adapter may actually be slower than the wireless because usb only gets up tp 11meg however it is more stable than wireless (most people dont have more than 8meg broadband anyway, unlike my 24meg). The last thing you want is for your wireless connection to cut out when you're updating the firmware of your newly opened Wii or you'll be waiting like another month for nintendo to fix your Wii.

Thanks for the info, if I don't get one in U.K. shortly I may well be tempted to get one from Amazon, Germany.

I haven't myself as yet but it seems a lot of people are.

I have got one on order in U.K. and I aren't in any particular panic to get one but may look to Amazon.de if it's going to be another week or so before I get one here.
