Pre Ordered Wii from Game

I ordered from Game as well, also not here yet. I receieved an idiot email from them telling me that the price of my order has gone down from £259.99 to £259.98...wooo...thanks for letting me know about that 1p...

Yeah, I was hoping that as well. I doubt it though, think how much money they'de lose if they took a reasonable amount of money off the price of everyone with a late delivery!

hmm, thats a fair point, but still a fiver off cant be bad can it? i dint think theyd loose too much from a fiver, but then again a lot of people are getting it late

not only that, but the owner of GAME is probably greedy beyond belief. he won't want to lose out at all!

yup, my mum's gonna tell me when it comes, just so I know I'll get it for xmas...ruins the whole christmas suprise, but hey, I'd rather know my wii was ready than have a suprise lol

i orderd mine on the 11th of november, over 3 weeks before launch, it looks like my wii is in the second batch from nintendo which will be in UK on wednesday aparently, so mine might be here this week!!! maybe yours will be too, i hope they are for our sake lol, this is ddriving me mad!! and i should be concentrating on exams

yes it would, as i saw on the news that the second batch is coming by sea, and im reading rumours tat the second batch will be in UK soon, so hey if were all in second batch, were also gonna have our wii's soon!!

I oredered mine about 2 months before release I think, can't remember exactly. I can't believe many people could've ordered before me!!

I ordered my Nintendo Wii from Gamestation i was number 25 out of 50 i got it on the launch day i had a package

Wii, GT Pro Series, Need For Speed Carbon. Classic Controller

I've since then got Wii Play, Wii Sports add ons which is the steering wheel, tennis racket, Golf club add on.

I had my brother Q up with me at toys r us in order to buy a spare to sell on here for cost, then Artist came up to me and started chatting saying he used this forum, so let him take his place. You should hunt him down!

Cancelled my order with play today, dont think will use them again. Just go to a store and accept the pre order is ***.

I'm F**king livid with Game , read this!!

Unfortunately, due to an overwhelming demand for this item, we will be unable to fulfil your order before Christmas. We are sorry to bring you such disappointing news and although we may receive more stock before Christmas there will not be enough time to despatch to you for the 25th of December.

We continue to work very closely with Nintendo to get all outstanding orders despatched as soon as possible and we are hoping this will be accomplished in early January 2007

okay! I managed to get one from Game store in town today! Spoke to the manager, explained about the pre order. He said he would phone me when the delivery arrives. He did, and I've now got one, he said the store only got five to sell over the counter, so was lucky!!!! Bri :)

Hi all, i got my wii on release as i prordered mine min august in the first wave of preorders they shouldnt be selling over the counter till they fill all the off some poor guy or gal on there way in to pick it up as individual stores where phoning customer to tell them they had there console i stock ps i know the manager of my local store and even i didnt get special treatment.

delivery preorders are always a bad idea BTW.

i pre ordered mine on the 22nd october got the email off game saying i wouldnt get 1 on release date.Then Monday out the blue i got an email to say it had been despatched and was delivered tuesday

I ordered a Wii in October. It was a Christmas present for my stepson. Game sent it out on the 19th. It got as far as the Parcelforce depot in Mitcham, for whence it was nicked by someone in the depot. It was not the only one. My other half was down there trying to pick it up and there were lots of people whose parcels, including at least three Wii's had gone walkabout.

Gutted doesn't cover it.

The police have been called in.

Anyone else affected by things like this?
