It's gone past midnight and everyone inthje house is in bed but you. Your still up trying to get that record score in bowling, but its proving a difficult task. So not to wake everyone the sound on the telly is turned right down to a whisper. It's not as much fun without the sound of the ball smashing down the pins for another perfect strike.
This is all about to change thanks to the folk at turtlebeach.com (http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/products/earforce/w3/) who have created wireless headphone so you can still have the sounds of the Wii even with the TV on mute. They look pretty cool and use one AAA battery, not bad for £30.

Yeah i'm loving the idea, i might buy myself a pair if i see them in the shops, although i'd rather have a pair of headphones with a microphone for say the online play. I really hope nintendo decide to let players talk to each other.

It seems pointless doing an online service without comms, I trust Ninty to do the right thing. :D

the best thing about the 360 is the XboxLive, where you can talk to friends, join their online games, send them voice mesages, stuff like that. If wii got those abilities, sales would rocket 8)

lol you can have a private chat channel where you have to invite people, they can't just come on.

Great idea. The Wii will be downstairs for me and I stay up quite late so that'll be useful.
