Been available for over 24 hrs, I think the price of the bundle is putting people off.
I went for it, just can't be doing with the waiting anymore, and the price is no more than the RRP for each game and the console.
If you're done with the waiting, it's a great opportunity to get your Wii by midweek :D

Has anyone actually done that? I can't see where it says you can return part of an order on their site..............

Bloody hell, that's a genius idea :D :D :D .
Didn't particularly want Super Monkey Ball or Wario, so would prefer to get the refund - may just try this out!

From my past experiences with my local Game store in Milton Keynes I have never had any problems with returning games, they are one of the best for it.
Plus the extra games are not actually bundled in with the console, all Game are doing is trying to flog off there games with people buying the Wii. it wont say anywhere on the site that you can walk into a store and return the games but then why would they want to tell you that!

Maybe a daft question, but do these bundles also come with the "Sports"game included ?

Yes they do, Wii Sports is the only game that is in the box with your Wii :)

Decided to test this all out by going back to the old fashioned phone call!
Play.com had accepted my internet order yesterday but the status shown was a bit vague......"Order taken".............so I phoned them and it seems they are still over a month behind on back orders!!!!!
Phoned my local Game store and asked about buying the £335 bundle online and then returning unwanted games to the shop. The manager said that each shop Manager could have their own policy on this but HE WOULD accept the games back and refund........ but not for the full amount if the bundle was discounted.
As far as I can tell there is no discount on this bundle (they do describe it as a Bundle) so I have ordered online from Game and will be cancelling with Play.com
If I return the games to the shop I will have paid £179.99 + £29.99 for Console and extra remote. All with Free Delivery.
So, phone your local Game shop to ask their policy and Bob is definitely you uncle

If you go to the F.A.Q. section on the Game website, there is a section about returns & part of it reads:-
"Please note items bought in 'bundle deals', such as 2 for £30.00 or hardware and software packs, if returned separately, will result in the full price being charged for other items in the special offer - and the refund adjusted accordingly."
So there should be no problem with returning the software & it does also state that they can be returned to a local store.

Hey all,
I also ordered the bundle (ouch for my Credit Card!), from Game online on Friday. I called the customer service line twice over the weekend and they said that I could return the games if they were in their original condition (i.e. unopened). I have also been asking in store and have received mixed responses to returning the games, so that seems to support the views expressed above with regard to individual managers. However I see no reason why you can't return the items you don't want as they are separate items on the order form and you have paid full price for them, it's not as if you are getting a discount because you are buying the bundle!
By the way guys and gals, anyone know when they are likely to ship the console? I ordered friday afternoon almost as soon as it came into stock (3pm ish), I can understand that they may not work weekends, but I would have thought that by now on a monday (4pm) that they would have despatched it or are they simply clearing the backlog? I know it's sad but I've been checking every hour (order tracking) to see if it's ready to be released to the delivery company, FAQs are typically vague as well. Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers!

I am destined to remain Wii-less
Had an email this morning stating that the bank had declined payment (funny, as the funds were there when I checked my online account). Re-ordered, being doubly careful with the detail... shortly after, received another email from GAME saying the same thing.
Phoned the bank, on the bounce, and they said they had authorised 2 payments of £330+ to GAME - the problem was not at their end and, worse than that, the payments are scheduled to be taken. So I'd be £700 down, and no Wii   .
After a lengthy wait on the phone to GAME customer services, I'm advised that there was a discrepency between my delivery address and the address that my card is registered at (except there isn't!) but she has assured me that when an order is cancelled, payment won't be taken (despite what the bank say).
I'm now going to hang on with my original pre-order at my local Gamestation store...at least that way, any issues can be sorted out across a counter.
Will I ever have a Wii?!?!?

First of all to Cragganmore Kid: My sympathies go out to you, so annoying when all the electrons passing from bank to shop go missing. Keep your head up and you'll get there!
To kevmarshall: It says exactly the same thing this end too. Again so annoying that they haven't shipped it today (presumably), Game are taking the Wii methinks. Have you received any other emails other than the one entitled 'Your Order: *******' ?
Cheers

Just to let everyone know I have just cancelled my order with Game today (still said at 9am this morning being picked and packed). I was lucky and fortunate enough to find a Wii in store at Argos in Abingdon. Went in to Oxford to desperately see if one was availabe, and on the way back home popped into Argos in Botley and they reserved the last one in stock for me of all the stores around. VERY lucky.
Good luck to all of you in finding your Wii paradise, it does prove if you look hard enough (and for long enough!) you will get one. The good news for everyone is the rumours abound from Virgin, Game, Gamestation and HMV that there will be loads more in stock soon, something to do with a console from Sony coming out in March (no idea what that will be!) and that the Wii will be more widely held in stock say from about the start of next week and improving certainly from the end of this month.
Good luck and good hunting!
Cheers

That's great news, unfortunately I am away for a few days so I wouldn't have been in to receive the parcel. At least this way I get to play it before I go and to take it with me!
By the way the wii is absolutely fantastic, everything I thought it would be, fun and engaging!
