It's funny that about five days ago I was talking about the potential of the Wii and that Nintendo are being slow at pushing out new channels and features.
I mentioned that there should be a Wii Messenger for instant chat, a feature that would improve the ability to communicate with other Wii friends. Well its actually going to be developed by WiiAim.com (http://wiiaim.com/), using the Wii browser to chat with your buddies using AIM.
At present this is still in development but in the mean time you can use AimOnPsp (http://aimonpsp.com/).

Thats cool i'll check out that aimonpsp later, but i'm liking the idea of an msn messenger kinda thing on your wii, you could use ebuddy but theres not alot of point really unless you use the webpage that allows tabs.

yeah would be much better than the message system at the moment, its ok for one off messages but when you want a chat it isn't that good

it would take ages to type out a reply though.

true but hopefully soon someone will make a keyboard for the wii, may be you can plug it into the wiimote like you do the nunchunk or it will use the usb ports
