ive had mine nearly a month now, never had a problem, and ive got it connected to the internet 3 days ago, it took ages, it turns out there was a 'connect to:' button on my router which i had to press to connect any new thing, so i pressed it and the wii connected,
this was a livebox form orange/wanadoo

Nothing wrong with mine, hope it stays that way :)

Must admit getting it hooked up to the net was a bit of a headache but that was more to do with my router that the Wii.

seems that once most people get the wii connect to the internet it works fine
