to be honest i'v never really played many mortal combat games (the films were soo bad). i'v always stuck to my soul calaber on my dreamcast. allthough it looks quite promising, i wonder what other beat'um ups will be coming to the wii. this one looks good.

Actually i've posted about it before, looks cool, i'm a fan of the mid air fighting, something different and fun. i've always been fans of those types of games, like tekken, soul caliber etc.

The MK series is quite old school compared to today's 3D graphic's. But it's the deadly moves that made this series a classic, i.e ripping someones head off
Soul Calibur is my fav fighting game these days because I love fighting with the weapons.

As the VC includes the megadrive perhaps a couple of the old mortal kombats will come on there after the new one is release for the Wii, that would be quite cool

The first full preview is out and I've added it to the first post. Game Informer revealed that the preview build they were given was actually really good fun. And what exactly makes this game so fun? Well, I'm glad to report it's the controls. :D

I looking quite forwards to this game but do you reckon any motion controls would work well with this type of game?

I'm a massive fan of the Mortal Kombat series (even though I think they kind of lost their way after the second or third...) so I'll definitely be checking this out. It will certainly be interesting to check out how the motion controls work. It sounds like the sort of thing that might take you a little time to get used to, but when you're comfortable with it, it'll feel like second nature.
