Zelda- the burning wagon?

Hi all,
could somebody give me a hint as to how i can get past the part where i have to save the wagon with the 2 women in it.I've already done this part, i think i was lucky, but now my partner is stuck there and refuses to play the game anymore unless i get her past this stage. Normally she never plays games, so if i can keep her interested we could share the cost of games in future, which means i'm desperate as i'm half scots/half yorkshire.

Well you basically have to protect the carrage from being hit and from being set of fire by the Pigs on the goats. But when the carrage is on the track make sure it doesn't get hit because if it does then it will change direction and will keep doing it until you make sure theres no enemies attacking the carrage when the carrage is going to the next part of hyrule.

and when it is set on fire remember to use the gale boomerang to put it out

ye there are these birds that drop bombs and the green orky looking things on pigs that fire, flaming arrows at you and the cart.
the birds make the cart change direction and the orky things burn it down.
i found this a pain in the ass as well.

Get enough arrows and make sure you shoot the birds, gale boomerang to stop the fire and knock the pigs away with your sword, i did it first time but probably a bit lucky.
